  1. BASH PATCH REPORT
  2. =================
  3. Bash-Release: 3.0
  4. Patch-ID: bash30-015
  5. Bug-Reported-by: opengeometry@yahoo.ca
  6. Bug-Reference-ID: <200410202012.i9KKCTEB001860@node1.opengeometry.net>
  7. Bug-Reference-URL: http://lists.gnu.org/archive/html/bug-bash/2004-10/msg00297.html
  8. Bug-Description:
  9. Shell variable can start with number and can even be printed with
  10. 'declare', as in
  11. 1=aaa
  12. 1a=bbb
  13. declare -p 1 1a
  14. But, they can't be removed, as in
  15. unset 1 1a --> ...: not a valid identifier
  16. Bash-2.05b correctly gives me error, however.
